D.R. Horton, Roper Technologies, and Lancaster Colony were among the U.S. companies that declared dividend increases this week.

Home builder D.R. Horton (ticker: DHI) declared a quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents a share, up 13% from 20 cents. The stock, which yields 0.9%, has returned about 41% this year as of Thursday’s close, dividends included—compared with a 25% return for the S&P 500.
