Smith & Wesson moving headquarters to Tennessee

Smith & Wesson shares are down 1.7% after it said it would relocate its headquarters to Maryville, Tenn., from Springfield, Mass., starting in 2023, in a move that will affect 750 jobs. The gun maker said it would invest $120 million in the new headquarters, which will result in the addition of 10 cents to 12 cents a share to its annual earnings once it’s fully operational.
